The 48th Highlanders, 1915 Neuve Chappelle In March 1915 the 15th Battalion C.E.F. (48th Highlanders) took over the line of trenches at Neuve Chappelle, France. This was some of the earliest experiences of Trench Warfare that the Regiment was to endure during the First World War.
