The 48th Highlanders, 1908 Quebec City

In July 1908 the 48th Highlanders travelled to Quebec City to take part in the Tercentenary.  The Regiment formed an honour guard to the Duke of Cornwall and York (the future King George V) and with other Canadian Units participated in a Royal Review on the Plains of Abraham.  Capture in this picture is the Regiment formed up in Marching Order with there Kit Bags (order of dress that is worn when the Regiment is marching).
